SEND Teaching Assistant

Are you passionate about making a positive contribute on the lives of students with additional needs? Axcis are recruiting for a full time Special needs teaching assistant to help support KS3 pupils With SEMH (SOCIAL, EMOTIONAL, MENTAL HEALTH) & Challenging Behaviour on a 1:1 or small group basis.

This school is located within Worcestershire area where pupils attend full or part time days.


Responsibilities:

• Provide support and assistance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a classroom setting
• Support students with personal care needs if required
• Provide 1:1 or small group support

Requirements:

• Experience working with children with Special needs in a educational setting
• Enhanced DBS on the update system or willing to pay £45.2
• Good understanding of SEN interventions & strategies
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in SEN or Childcare.
