Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be working with a rapidly growing construction business based in Chesterfield as they look for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.


This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a small and welcoming team that will look to support and develop your skills further.


This role will include:


  • Taking responsibility for the daytoday processing of all site purchase invoices
  • Ensuring all invoices are checked, prices are correct, and discrepancies are investigated
  • Ensure month end deadlines are adhered to
  • Reconcile supplier statements
  • Deal with all enquiries related to invoices/payments
  • Process intercompany recharge services

Skills and experience:


  • Experience working in a busy Purchase Ledger role
  • Strong IT skills
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Knowledge of Sage 50 (Desirable)
  • Experience working in an SME environment
Monday to Friday 40 hours (Flexible)

£25,000 - £28,000

Free on-site parking

23 days holiday + Bank holidays
