Head office - Milton Keynes (2 days a week) & Remote / Flexible working

Senior Insight Manager - Overview

Reporting directly to the CDO, you will be required to work closely with senior leaders from all areas of the business.

The primary responsibility of the role is to provide high quality reporting, analysis and actionable insight, to meet the day to day data needs of the business.

To achieve this, you will have significant scope to shape and develop our analytical capabilities, and in time, you will build and manage a team of analysts to support you.

You will draw valuable insights from data as well as contributing to the development of our data capabilities across a range of areas, including data management, data quality and data strategy.

The role has several primary strategic directives that will directly contribute to achieving our growth plans.
Senior Insight Manager - Skills

Having great people skills will be vital as you will be working with, and expected to influence, colleagues at every level as well as external leaders.

Stakeholder management and engagement skills are highly valued in this role.

However, the role is highly technical, so having a strong background in applied analytics and statistics is a must, as is the ability to use SQL and Power BI (or similar) to shape, interrogate and model data.

Python would be an advantage too.

Your analysis will be strategically important to the business and directly impact our budgets, targets and resource planning, so attention to detail is critical.

A proven track record of providing cutting edge analysis and actionable insight, is crucial to this role, as well as a solid grounding in a range of analytical techniques, machine learning, data visualisation and BI solutions.

Experience in providing analysis and data products to support customer journeys, contact centre operations, budgeting, marketing automation, forecasting and digital marketing would be advantageous.

Leading with a best practice approach alongside a willingness to try new things and take on new challenges is key.

Business-minded, you will always have one eye on budgets and profitability, managing costs /effectively whilst actively looking for the next opportunity to increase profits.
