An opportunity has arisen to join our Sporting + Events team as a Sporting + Events Officer.

This is a particularly exciting time to join the team as a an exciting organisational and new Sporting + Events strategy will underpin our ambitious plans.


Asthma + Lung UK is the only charity in the UK fighting for everyone with a lung condition, aiming for a world where everyone can breathe with healthy lungs.

We fund cutting-edge research, provide advice and support for the 12 million people who will get a lung condition during their lifetime.

We also campaign for clean air and for better NHS diagnosis and treatment.


You will be a pivotal member of the Sporting + Events team, helping to deliver mass participation events such as the London Marathon, Royal Parks and London Landmarks Half Marathons while also supporting with the development of our virtual events portfolio.

You'll be responsible for maximising income, achieving recruitment targets and delivering excellent donor care to ensure our supporters have an incredible journey from start to finish.


You will have excellent organisational and attention to detail skills with the confidence to communicate with our supporters regularly as well as producing creative and engaging content to attract sign ups.

You will be a great team player who interacts with colleagues at all levels across the organisation. You'll have a brilliant opportunity to develop your budget and project manager skillset.
