Composites Technician - Clevedon, United Kingdom - Prime Appointments
Description
We are looking for a skilled operative to join a busy aerospace company based near Clevedon. This role will be working for their composites division which provides solutions across Aerospace, Medical markets, amongst others.The role will be to prepare and assemble a variety of composite structures such as seating, information stands and scanners as well as many other products.
You will be working on products from start to finish so ability to work under pressure to deadlines is essential.
You will be working 08:00-17:00 Monday to Thursday with a 08:00 - 13:00 on Fridays Starting rate will be up to £15ph depending on experience.
Duties include:
Cutting and laying up materialsCleaning and preparing mouldsOperating ovens and other curing machineryAssembling using hand tools and adhesivesFinishing of componentsIn return the company can offer great range of benefits including a Healthcare cash plan, 24 days holiday + bank holidays, sick pay, early Friday finishes and more and moreTo be considered for the role you will need to have the following:Experience working within either, woodwork, engineering, boat building, laminatingIdeally some experience working within laminating or compositesPreferably some experience within an aerospace or automotive industryGood dexterity and attention to detailBeing able to use hand and power tools including drills and sawsIf you would like some more information and have the experience required then please get in touch with Helen @ Prime Appointments.
