Ocean Import CoordinatorLocation: Southampton, HampshireSalary: £28,000 - £35,000As an Ocean Import Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in managing the smooth transportation of goods across Ocean Freight - making sure it's cost-effective and reliable
Role:
Coordinating Import shipments from start to finish using Ocean/Sea freightWorking with clients and carriers to choose the best routes and modes based on cost and timeNegotiating rates with customers to ensure competitive pricingHandling the paperwork including bills, customs forms, and contractsMonitoring shipments and update clientsEnsuring customs requirements are metBuild great relationships with clientsFind ways to improve our transportation processRequirements:At least 2 year of experience in Ocean ImportsKnow the ins and outs of shipments, including hazardous goods.
Excellent communication skills.
Familiar with shipping terms.
Able to meet deadlines and work with customers.
