    • Our client is a known multi-disciplinary consultancy that works in the UK and overseas
    • They work across a range of sectors including high end residential, education, hospitality and commercial
    • They provide project, cost and design services and are now looking to build a Building Surveying arm. They are looking for someone to join with a client base, but can also feed this new member work from their current clients. The new joiner must be RICS chartered and able to work on a range of matters including, valuations, small projects, inspections.
    • The company is open to considering those who want to come as part of a team or bring their business to this company
    • They're full-service team, with in-house experts in project management, strategy and market research, concept development, interior design, procurement, branding, operational set-up, launch, and on-going support. They can take care of projects from start to finish, or simply at the moments you need them..

    Role Description:

    • Provide strategic leadership on building surveying projects, ensuring successful project delivery from inception to completion.
    • Manage and lead a team of building surveyors, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
    • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring client satisfaction.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, providing updates, and managing expectations.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive departmental growth.
    • Contribute to the development and implementation of marketing strategies to attract new clients and projects.
    • Demonstrate a deep understanding of building surveying principles and practices.
    • Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team on complex building surveying issues.
    • Oversee project budgets and financial performance, ensuring profitability and cost-effectiveness.
    • Contribute to the development of fee proposals and project estimates.
    • Ensure that all building surveying services adhere to industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
    • Implement and maintain quality assurance processes within the department.
    • Foster a positive and collaborative working environment, promoting professional development and training opportunities for team members.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews and set clear goals for professional growth.
    • Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with building surveying projects.
    • Implement effective risk management strategies to safeguard project success

    Requirements:

    • Must have previous experience working as a Building Surveyor in UK
    • Proven leadership and project management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong business development and client management capabilities.
    • In-depth knowledge of building surveying principles and regulations

    Package:

    • £80K-90K DOE + Benefits + Bonus
