So what's your next change?


As Laboratory Specialist you will support the operational business areas through a combination of destructive and non-destructive testing methods as well as chemical analysis to ensure conforming product throughout all stages of the build cycle.


Due to an internal promotion the opportunity has risen for a Laboratory Specialist to join an experienced team of around 14 supporting Airbus's Broughton manufacturing facility in a highly varied role.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM

  • Perform chemical analysis (XRF, ICP, IC, FTIR...)
  • Perform material testing and special incoming testing ́s (hardness, electrical conductivity, spectroscopy, peeling.)
  • Support failure analysis in case of customer irritations
  • Support external laboratories qualification and observation.
  • Carry out mechanical testing methods (tensile, fatigue, sheer...)

ABOUT YOU

  • Degree educated with a background in Chemistry
  • You will have experience of chemical and materials analysis in an industry where process, safety & governance is highly scrutinised
  • The ability to work shifts (mornings and afternoons)
