The Role:


As a Fire Safety Inspector, you will have a key influence on how fire safety is delivered and the impact it will have on our residents, ensuring their properties are maintained to the highest safety standards.


Working across a portfolio of some 21,000 properties on the delivery of a multi-million-pound annual programme of planned works, you will assess fire risk across the housing and corporate portfolio, whilst managing strategic fire safety projects.

About You:


With a significant background in managing fire safety in a complex organisation, you will be ready for the challenge of working for an ambitious and forward-thinking local authority.

Experience of fire safety compliance within large-scale capital investment projects is essential.


Tenacious and focused, with an eye for detail, you will have a good understanding of compliance data and compliance software.

You will be responsible for writing and review policy and procedures in line with developing legislation.


As a member of the H&S team, you will need to be capable of proactive decision-making and engagement with residents, commercial awareness and strong communication skills are also essential.
