Up-to £55,000 per annum (pro-rata); Depending on Experience

Tower Hill, London


Job Type:
Full-Time - (40 Hours a week)

The Role:


The Health and Safety Manager is a crucial senior management position that plays a significant role in ensuring the smooth delivery of facilities and services to each campus.

The role holder will report to the Deputy Managing Director and has the delegated authority to act at a local level on their behalf.

In addition, the role holder is responsible for collaborating with Global University Systems (GUS) facilities staff, academic colleagues, HR, finance, IT and contracted service partners to provide a customer-focused Facilities Management Service (FMS).


The post-holder will oversee and coordinate the delivery of facilities management services at each campus, ensuring service quality and compliance with relevant regulations and policies.

The Health & Safety Manager must also foster strong relationships with stakeholders and work collaboratively with them to achieve shared objectives.


The post-holder will be responsible for promoting mutual understanding with college stakeholders to ensure Facilities services and initiatives align with the college's business requirements.

In addition, the role holder will work closely with college stakeholders to identify and incorporate their needs into the delivery of these services.


  • Experience working as a Health & Safety Manager/Lead in the education sector is desirable, but not essential. _
