    What you will do:


    • Help to deliver both COREP and FINREP returns to the Banks regulators – Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA), Bank of England (BOE) and the Financial Conduct authority (FCA)


    • Support other members of the Regulatory Reporting teams (Change and Interpretations) as well as Financial Reporting, Credit Risk, Treasury, Internal Audit and other Risk teams to ensure that accurate reporting is produced by the Bank in an efficient and effective manner


    • Ensure first and second lines of defence senior management are provided with sufficient detail to support their review, challenge and approval


    • Assess the impact of Regulatory Reporting changes on Metro Bank


    • Ensure that returns are reviewed to a high standard and subject to appropriate review and challenge. This will include reconciliation reviews in a timely manner such that we meet the deadlines imposed by the regulator


    • Make sure, the Bank's risk framework is robustly applied, with processes documented, risks identified, controlled and mitigated and escalated where appropriate

    What you will need:


    • Understand the risks associated with your job and what that means for you, Metro Bank and all our stakeholders


    • Analytical skills to review reconciliations and reports. Strong attention to detail is required as these reports are sent to the Bank's regulatory supervisor


    • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel to manage large datasets


    • Ability to analyse and explain reports


    • Experience of Identifying risks to Regulatory Reporting and escalating where appropriate


    • Ability to support the team in meeting the strict deadlines imposed by the regulator to make sure we meet our reporting deadlines


    • Experience of supporting a variety of stakeholders
