    My client are a well-established business with a central office in Northampton. As a result of steady growth they are looking to hire an additional IT Engineer to support with server and desktop operating systems, hardware, software, networks, and back-ups.

    You will be a good problem solver, have solid communication skills and be driven and motivated to further your technical knowledge.

    Specific areas of technical expertise will include:

    • Active Directory, Group Policy, Azure, Microsoft 365 Deployment and administration
    • Routers, and Switches
    • Strong knowledge of Windows Desktop & Server OS
    • Networking (TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP)
    • Backup software and disaster recovery technologies
    • Expertise in VMware/Hyper-V

    The team have a presence on site and therefore the initial expectation is to be based in the office however once up to speed there will be flexibility to work from home 2-3 days a week if you wish. You will support users across the UK and enjoy a variation of technical challenges as well as occasional on site/face to face support with clients
