    Job Summary:

    Responsible for the Canary Wharf Group (CWG) Volunteering Programme, building a strategy that supports the delivery of Social Value in the communities we serve, engages our people and aligns with our purpose to bring people together to enhance lives now, and in the future.

    Closing date: 3rd May 2024
    Annual Salary: circa £50k dependent on experience

    Main Responsibilities:

    This is an office-based role with the flexibility to work from home up to 1 day per week.

  • Responsible for CWG wide employee volunteering programme.
  • Design and deliver CWG Volunteer Strategy to focus activity and ensure that the offering serves staff, the community and the business.
  • Work with the wider community team to identify community organisations to partner with in delivery of employee volunteering.
  • Liaise and co-ordinate with community partners to deliver opportunities.
  • Plan volunteer events ensuring all due diligence and H&S procedures are followed.
  • Prepare communications on opportunities and effectively promote across all areas of the business to recruit and engage volunteers.
  • Lead and attend volunteer events, being the main point of contact.
  • Record and measure the impact of events and gather attendee feedback.
  • Collate monitoring and record in Social Value Portal.
  • Prepare overviews and casestudies of volunteer activities to raise the profile of volunteering within the business and for external use, in conjunction with communications team, to support wider community engagement updates and ESG reporting.
  • Evaluate overall employee volunteering offering to ensure it supports wider social value and staff engagement targets.
  • Assist Associate Director – CSR & Community with any other projects and ad hoc work.
  • What We Require of You:

  • Previous experience in a CSR /Social Value/ Volunteer cordinator role is essential.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is essential.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Highly organised with strong prioritisation skills and ability to multitask.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Must be a team player with a willingness to help others.
  • Flexible, organised and calm approach to work is essential.
  • Capable of working under own initiative and under pressure.
  • The successful candidate must be able to communicate at all levels.
