Job Introduction

Working directly to the Strategic Director, you would be responsible for supporting them to deliver a range of key performance drivers, including oversight of the complex change programme to move to our new target operating model:

  • Keeping the Directorate on track to deliver a large portfolio of exciting and innovative infrastructure & transport programmes
  • Holding teams accountable to deliver performance metrics and standards
  • Managing stakeholder relationships across the Directorate and at a wider senior level
  • Ensuring the smooth transition of the Directorate's 6 services to the new target operating model and enabling it to work effectively and safely
  • Drafting communications for the Strategic Director of Infrastructure and representing them at meetings.


We're looking for someone who can confidently negotiate and influence at any level, who can work with and mobilise people to deliver our goals, and who takes the initiative to work quickly and effectively.

Are you a highly organised self-starter with a keen eye for detail and experience in operations, project management, and the public and private sectors?
