- Collaborates on the design, development, and implementation of cost-effective methods through testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment for all phases of product development and manufacturing.
- Key participant in test and diagnostic programs, designs test fixtures and equipment, and completes specifications and procedures for new products.
- Organises the labour, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices.
- Ensure that programs comply with standards for good laboratory practices good manufacturing practices and/or good clinical practices.
- May be responsible for setting the parameters and testing customer samples.
- A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with a demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands.

- Proven experience in a high-volume ATE Semiconductor production test environment.
- In-depth understanding of ATE specifications/limitations whilst maximising multisite testing possibilities.
- Coding experience in ATE test systems, C++.
- Coding experience in Python / SQL Server would be advantageous.
- Experience in analysing test data and producing qualification plans for the release of test programs, with consideration and understanding of correlations, capability analysis and MSA, Gauge R&R.
- ASIC Semiconductor test data analysis focusing on yield performance and supporting automation of test data collection and reporting.
- Provide technical leadership, training and general advice for Engineers within the department.
- Propose new and innovative test methods to reduce the Cost of Tests and carry out feasibility studies required for the introduction and qualification of measurements, test tooling, equipment & programming.
- Support identification of appropriate ATE for all aspects ASIC testing from initial debugging to fully capable high-volume multi-temperature requirements at both wafer and package levels.
- Provide documentation for project files in accordance with the Quality and HSE procedures & instructions in place.
- In conjunction with ASIC Design Engineers provide evaluation/characterisation/yield/test time analysis.
- Advise and support Test Maintenance Engineering when required.
