    Finance Legal Counsel

    Role: 10-month Fixed Term Contract (with the potential to extend)

    Location: London

    PQE Level: 5+ Years PQE as a rough guide

    Salary: Competitive + Benefits + Bonus

    Reporting to: General Counsel

    WFH: Hybrid working model

    The Role:

    We are looking for a dynamic Finance Lawyer with corporate experince to support the legal function of a thriving digital assets firm.

    Responsibilities:

    • Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including client agreements, trading agreements, vendor agreements, technology agreements and non-disclosure agreements.
    • Provide legal advice that supports the design and implementation of new products.
    • Advise on the regulatory aspects of cross-border client and counterparty relationships.
    • Support the development of the business in new locations.
    • Monitor and advise on regulatory developments that may impact the business strategy.
    • Advise on corporate and governance matters.
    • Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including client agreements, trading agreements, vendor agreements, technology agreements and non-disclosure agreements.

    Experience:

    • Qualified as a lawyer to practice in the UK or similar qualification.
    • Experience in corporate and/or finance law.
    • Experience reviewing and drafting contracts would be beneficial.
    • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, often with a high level of ambiguity and change.
    • Experience gained in high-growth/start-up companies would be advantageous but is not necessary.
    • Experience in financial services, ideally in a trading or execution business.
    • Solutions-focused, with good judgement when it comes to problem-solving.
    • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to relate comfortably at all levels with business clients and across borders.
    • Highly motivated, strategic, and detail-oriented individual, with the ability to proactively organize a heavy workload and demonstrate excellent analytical abilities.
