- Monitor compliance with information governance and data protection principles.
- Identify and address potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk.
- Develop and implement corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues.
- Provide reports on a regular basis to keep senior management informed of the operation and progress of compliance efforts.
- Collaborate with other departments to direct compliance issues for investigation and resolution.
- Respond to alleged violations of rules, regulations, policies, and procedures by evaluating or recommending the initiation of investigative procedures.
- Maintain documentation of compliance activities.
- Review and update the company's information governance and data protection policies.
- A degree in Law, IT, Data Protection, or a related field.
- Demonstrable experience in information governance, data privacy and compliance roles.
- Strong understanding of data protection laws and regulations.
- Available to start immediately.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using MS Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
