The Company


Nigel Wright are delighted to be partnering with a leading printed carton manufacturer in their search for their new Head of Sales.

This long-standing North-East based business has recently made a significant investment in their capital equipment to ensure they are at the forefront of the industry.

The Role


The Head of Sales will report into the Board of Directors and lead the sales function in increasing revenue in line with the overall business strategy.

Key role responsibilities include;

  • Lead the team of BDMs by promoting a highperforming culture
  • Provide support, training, and coaching to the wider team
  • Create team KPIs
  • Build strong relationships with key clients and support BDMs in their client relationships. Actively participate in key client meetings
  • Create the overall sales strategy
  • Lead and facilitate the link between the sales function, customer services, and operations
  • Regularly report to the board
  • Suggest and implement improvement strategies
The Person

  • Have a natural coaching style with an engaging and motivating approach to leadership
  • Have a consultative approach to client management
  • Be both strategic and operational key account management is a major part of this role
  • Have excellent communication skills
Salary and Working Arrangement

  • Competitive salary, bonus structure, and car allowance
  • Regular travel to the North-East office and time in the field with clients / BDMs is required
