The purpose of the Sales Administrator role is to take responsibility for efficiently handling all inbound enquiries and requests for information that are received from companies.
This role will involve contact with customers and prospects and liaison internally with the team to ensure the enquiry is dealt with, responded to and fielded in the most efficient way possible.
A basic understanding of the product range, the duties of the internal team and the marketplace we operate within are required.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be a key member of a highly professional and dynamic sales team.
The working environment is often demanding so you will need to be able to prioritise and be totally professional at all times.
Key responsibilities:
- To receive inbound RFI's (request for information) and respond to prospects and customers accordingly
- To ensure inbound RFI's are followedup in a timely manner so that they turn into actual enquiries
- To ask questions of the customer/prospect skilfully to determine the suitability of an inbound enquiry or RFI and to progress accordingly
- To utilise the sales teams' knowledge and resource to answer questions and service the inbound enquiry/RFI accordingly
- To manage the new website chat facility once its established
- To ensure general enquiries are responded to if fielded to a salesperson
- To estimate and quote enquiries
- To maintain accurate Pipeline for estimates and quotes
- To ensure Pipeline is followed up on in a timely manner consistently
- To followup deals within the Pipeline and negotiate to a close
Other duties:
- Update and maintain CRM system, and using and advocating internal systems
- Identify and advise on practical technical solutions
- Build brand recognition and appreciation
- Supporting the sales force with general operations to help reach the team's objectives
- Taking phone calls from customers
- Communicating internally important feedback from customers
- Attention to detail and organisational ability
- Punctual, disciplined, and selfmotivated
- Must possess advanced communication skills
- Demonstrate the ability to understand the customer and always act in their best interest
