Are you an administrator with experience in higher education, looking for a long-term temporary role in London? Our client, a top London University, is looking for a high-level Administrator to take on a complex variety of tasks, working three days a week at the London office and two days a week from home.

This is a full-time temporary role with an immediate start, which will run for approximately 8 months.

Comprising of three departments, the school delivers extensive educational programmes and courses in the field of public health.

As Administrator, you will work closely with the Deputy School Manager and the school's large administrative team to ensure the smooth running of the school office.

Taking responsibility for committee meetings, you'll plan and formulate agendas, produce minutes, circulate papers, and follow up action points. You'll be required to handle confidential HR information, responding to queries, and advising on HR policies and procedures.

Your excellent organisational skills will come into play when organising events and meetings, and assisting with the implementation of new projects.

The school will be moving to a new location, and you will be required to oversee the management of resources, including buildings, equipment, materials, and space.

Being extremely well organised and assertive, you'll take initiative and manage a wide variety of administrative tasks and ad hoc duties that arise.


Administrator Key Responsibilities:


  • Plan meetings, prepare agenda papers, take minutes, and follow up on actions as required
  • Take ownership of the office space, managing office supplies and maintaining an efficient filing system
  • Assist with HR administration and queries
  • Work with management to coordinate the move of the school to a new location
  • Be the first point of contact for the team, handling and redirecting queries
  • Assist with implementing the school's action plan, including data collection, organising events and updating the website
