To continue our exciting growth trajectory we're looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join the team and work closely with our Hiring Managers and People Operations team to find exceptional talent for Appvia.

    About the role

    As the Talent Acquisition Specialist you'll work closely with the different areas of the business, including solutions engineering, product engineering, marketing and sales teams to understand the challenges and opportunities within them, and to source the best talent available to meet the requirements. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager and COO, the role will also work closely with People Operations, to ensure the onboarding journey for our new hires is as smooth as possible.

    Requirements

    About you

    You'll be passionate about new technology and career development, and experienced in Technical/ Engineering Recruitment. You'll also be able to talk to us about your:

    • Knowledge of candidate control and recruitment life-cycle.
    • Ability to collaborate with people of all levels of technical ability and management.
    • Understanding of industry best practices.
    • Fantastic people skills, including the ability to engage candidates on our journey and the opportunities it provides.

    Responsibilities

    • Candidate sourcing and screening, utilising advanced search techniques and platforms to identify and engage with in-high-demand candidates who are a perfect fit for our technical standards, culture and values.
    • Helping to manage the full recruitment cycle from liaising with line managers about vacancies through to a new starter's first day, specifically; writing job descriptions, identifying and sourcing candidates, interviewing, providing feedback, and making offers.
    • Work closely with People Operations to create a seamless and knowledgeable onboarding process for new hires
    • Network and advertise to potential candidates via platforms such as like LinkedIn, Workable and market-leading job boards, Glassdoor, and manage Appvia Careers page.
    • Own, refine and iterate hiring processes and recruitment documentation, in line with the key areas of law surrounding recruitment and selection. Including, the potential implementation for online recruitment and assessment tools, such as employment related testing and security clearance checks.
    • Work with our marketing team to promote Appvia's employer brand, at community building events, including running/attending university campus hiring days, meetups and the wider startup ecosystem.
    • Measure key metrics and competencies to be able to deliver data driven insight to the leadership team.
    • Help run assessment centres if/as required.
    • Benchmark salaries/packages against the rest of the industry.
    • Be a strong brand ambassador.

    Skills & Experience

    • Engagement Wiz: You're a master of candidate generation and research techniques, a true people person, able to identify top talent at scale across diverse channels.
    • Experienced Resourcer: You have 2-3 years of experience in a search firm or in-house recruiting team, consistently exceeding expectations with innovative sourcing strategies.
    • Results-Oriented Mindset: You deliver on timelines while ensuring a seamless candidate experience from start to finish.
    • Continuous Learner: You're passionate about staying ahead of industry trends and best practices, constantly seeking new ways to improve your sourcing skills.
    • Tech Enthusiast: Actively interested in the understanding the cutting-edge technology behind Appvia and confidently articulating this to candidates and the wider market.
    • Self-starter: Have the ability to optimise processes by analysing data and translating insights into actionable recommendations.
    • Continuous Learning and Industry Involvement: Proven commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest trends and contributing to industry knowledge sharing.
    • Professional Communicator: Excellent written and verbal communication to both internal and external stakeholders, working within a high performing team.
