    Health and Safety Manager

    An experienced Health & Safety Manager is needed to join us, a leading property restoration specialist company based in Park Royal, London.

    This diverse role ensures the continued support, coordination, and input into the health and safety requirements for a wide variety of projects, providing hands-on support on site.

    This role requires writing Risk Assessment Method Statements (RAMS) for numerous activities.

    Reporting to the Managing Director you will be responsible for continuously reviewing and updating risk assessments, safe operating procedures, and safety statements, as well as screening project sites for potential risks before work commences.

    Regular inspections of active project sites ensure ongoing compliance with safety protocols, and you will liaise with external parties such as government inspectors to evaluate processes.

    You will identify areas of risk and develop measures to mitigate them, collaborating with senior management to create emergency procedures and promptly reporting any incidents.

    Maintaining thorough safety-related documentation and conducting employee training sessions on safe work practices are key components of your responsibilities.

    Additionally, you will manage relationships with clients, stay informed on legal regulations, and oversee the implementation of ISO standards, demonstrating a commitment to excellence in health and safety management.

    To qualify, you should be an experienced Health & Safety Manager with construction experience who can demonstrate the following:
    Must be well versed in writing RAMS.
    Expertise in specific skilled trades/type of work such as painting, stone masonry, HGV drivers and fa??ade/stone cleaners.
    Ability to access heights via ladders, scaffolding and MEWPS.
    Cultivating strong working relations to resolve project conflicts and making decisions where necessary.
    Good organisational and recordkeeping abilities the ability to maintain good records of all safety-related activities.
    High level management and implementation skills, including an ability to manage multiple strands of activity simultaneously.
    Well-developed negotiation skills, in order to re-negotiate deadlines and resources without creating unacceptable risk.
