We are recruiting for a Consultant in Clinical Oncology who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.


ENHT is seeking to maintain and expand the Mount Vernon Cancer Centre staff as we move to an exciting new future.


The post holder will be expected to work with members of the lung SABR and breast teams delivering SACT, radiotherapy and outpatient clinics at Mount Vernon.


At the St Albans Hospital site, the post holder will work closely with the breast multidisciplinary teams to provide a safe and high quality outpatient oncology service.


The successful post holder will have special interests in Lung and Breast cancer and will be based at the Mount Vernon Cancer Centre and St Albans City Hospital.

This is a substantive post compromising programmed activities (PAs) and an on-call commitment (1:26).

This reorganised post is available immediately to provide site specific services to the local population and surrounding areas. Out-patient duties will be based at St Albans and Mount Vernon, with radiotherapy and SACT delivery at Mount Vernon.

The post holder will specialise in the management of lung and breast malignancies, joining established dynamic teams of surgeons and oncologists.

  • Maintenance of highquality patient centred care
