Job Summary
The Rehabilitation Ward offers in-patient care and rehabilitation for adults with mental health challenges. We support individuals with complex needs to reintegrate into their community and achieve their goals in their recovery journey. Join our team and be responsible for a small caseload, coordinating care and collaborating with external agencies.
Our Ward follows a Shift System with two long days and two regular shifts. Day shifts start at 07:30, 13:00, and night shifts at 07:45.
Main Duties of the Job
We are seeking two Band 5 Staff Nurses to join the Bramley Street Open Community Rehabilitation Inpatient Service under the Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust. These are permanent positions.
Full-time roles consist of two long day shifts and two short shifts per week with three days off. Our unit offers care for adults with mental health difficulties, and the length of stay depends on the individual's progress through the program.
Patients can stay for structured rehabilitation for 6 to 12 months or intensive rehabilitation for 3 to 6 months post-acute admission. Upon discharge, our Outreach Service supports their transition back into the community.
We are looking for an approachable, motivated individual who can engage creatively with service users. Successful candidates can start immediately.
