The Supply Room is seeking passionate individuals to join school support teams in Bournemouth and Poole, offering both immediate and January 2024 start opportunities.

About Us:

At The Supply Room, we proudly collaborate with exceptional SEND schools in Bournemouth and Poole.

Currently, we're recruiting full-time Teaching Assistants to join a wonderful SEND school in Poole, catering to children and young people aged 3-19 with complex and multiple learning disabilities.

The Role:

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment. Your commitment will contribute to the development and growth of these remarkable individuals.

This is a full-time, permanent post. Working hours are Monday-Friday 08:30 - 15:45 commencing from 3rd January 2024.

Key Responsibilities:

Support children and young people with complex learning disabilities.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Collaborate with the school support team to enhance the overall learning experience.
Promote independent learning and personal development.
Encourage positive social interactions and communication skills.

We're looking for individuals with:

Professional experience with children, vulnerable adults, or supporting individuals with learning disabilities (professional or volunteer work).
Determination and commitment to the wellbeing and development of young minds.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Empathy, patience, and a positive attitude.
GCSE English and Maths (no other qualifications required).
