    Job title: Preventative Maintenance Engineer

    Location: Warrington

    Salary: £28,000

    This is an exciting opportunity to join a market leader in the manufacture of professional coffee machines as a PPM Engineer. Due to continued growth, our client is looking to further their drive to create a best-in-class level of service and increase their maintenance engineer base. The successful candidates will have the opportunity to progress as the business achieves further growth, and opportunities matching their skillsets become available.

    Main duties and responsibilities:
    • Perform planned maintenance on a variety of coffee machines according to the manufacturer's schedule.
    • Collaborate with the customer's boiler inspector for PSSR Boiler Inspections (facilitation only).
    • Address issues with valves and associated components, including descaling or replacing to prevent faults post-maintenance.
    • Ensure equipment calibration for optimal coffee quality and compliance with customer standards.
    • Replace water filters based on water hardness test results.
    • Manage spare parts in the service van independently.
    • Complete service reports accurately and promptly, documenting work and spare parts used.
    • Provide operator training on coffee equipment operation and cleaning.
    • Share best practices and knowledge with colleagues and Senior Engineer.
    Job requirements for Maintenance Engineer:
    • Be looking to learn how to use a multimeter & basic electrical wiring/testing skills.
    • Understand the importance of delivering excellent customer service.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy.
    • An understanding of electronics and circuitry would be advantageous.
    • Relevant industry experience on bean to cup coffee equipment (desired but not essential).
    • Coffee knowledge (desired but not essential).
    • Good organisational and problem-solving skills
