Indirect Category Specialist for leading UK FMCG based in Surrey (hybrid) - £45,000

Award-winning FMCG firm is now looking for an Indirect Procurement Category Specialist to join their fast-paced and dynamic team, undergoing expansion.

This role offers exposure to large scale procurement contracts, and offers the chance to build your portfolio working within a UK leading conglomerate.

Winning awards for sustainability and growth , you will bring fresh and innovative ideas, helping to develop and implement procurement strategies based on spend analytics and market knowledge.

Working alongside an established team, through supported development, you will advance your skillset to become a well-rounded procurement professional. You can expect to progress into senior category roles within 12-18 months.

Working in an indirect generalist role, you will support the firms indirect procurement categories - including, but not limited to, Facilities Management, HR, Professional and General Services.

Support all project sourcing within their indirect sectors, ensuring alignment with the company's long-term transformation strategy
Research and analyse the commodities market to provide innovative insight, unlocking opportunities for cost reduction and growth

Assist on delivering on a range of traditional procurement processes, including but not limited to, managing tenders, contracts and renewals, building relationships, and risk management.

This role requires good exposure to the indirect end to end procurement process, which ideally would have been acquired through working within a Retail or FMCG organisation.

This role offers a hybrid work scheme, allowing work from home 2-3 days a week, which gives the flexibility to provide that work-life balance.
