    A Snapshot of Your Day

    As a maintainiabilitty engineer you will provide technical expertise to all areas of the business relating to equipment maintenance, life cycle costs, obsolescence management, maintenance schedules, maintenance planning and strategies. Help to identify opportunities to minimise engine downtime and maximise maintenance contract profitability. Maintain engineering records to ensure maximum data integrity. To help develop in house tools to improve and maintain the integity and visabilty of Maintenance plans to all areas of the business.

    How You'll Make an Impact

    ·Responsible for the management and continuous development of inspection schedules and plans for the global fleet of industrial gas turbines, ensuring current best practice and regulations are followed.

    ·Develop inspection strategies based on operational data, legislation and recommendations from field experience and technical directives.

    ·Collaborate with other technical departments to provide detailed maintenance procedures for field service engineers to carry out scheduled maintenance tasks.

    ·Developing scheduled maintenance plans in conjunction with contract and sales managers to meet customer and engineering requirements whilst identifying opportunities to minimise downtime and maximise maintenance contract profitability within the reliability, availability, and maintainability (RAM) concept.

    ·Provide technical expertise to all areas of the business relating to equipment maintenance, life cycle costs, obsolescence management, maintenance schedules, maintenance planning and strategies.

    ·Maintaining engineering records including data analysis to ensure maximum technical data integrity and produce supporting reports.

    ·To work effectively as part of a team, supporting colleagues and identifying continuous improvement opportunities.

    ·Development of technical databases and software tools to support maintainability and business requirements in life cycle management and through life costs.

    What You Bring

    ·Degree in relevant subject or HND/HNC plus relevant experience.

    ·Diverse engineering background.

    ·Experience in the Maintainability arena.

    ·Operational knowlege of gas turbines and supporting equipment.

    ·High attention to detail and ability to manage simultaneous tasks.

    ·Self-motivated with high focus on continuous improvement.

    ·Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external customers, and individually to achieve set goals.

    ·Excellent communication, drawing and specification interpretation skills.

    ·Ability to analyse data and produce supporting reports.

    ·Excellent computer literacy and experience with Microsoft office suite, experience with software coding tools, databases and languages such as Tableau, Mendix, Snowflake and Python advantageous.

    ·SAP operational knowledge /experience preferred but not essential.

    ·Operational knowledge / experience of remote monitoring systems.
