An experienced Chief Risk Officer is required to join the senior leadership team of a scaling up FinTech business which provides device-based / application-based banking facilities to a client base including small business owners, retailers and the public.

The business is licensed and regulated by the Bank of England and FCA as an E-Money Provider.

The business is Private Equity backed and is on progressing well on a roadmap to expand both in the UK and into international markets, benefiting from investment and innovation in its superb technology.

To support the next stage of business growth, the opportunity has arisen for an experienced CRO to join the business with the purpose of setting and embedding risk management frameworks and stance into the business.

The incoming Chief Risk Officer will join an existing finance, technology and risk team, and will lead the risk management agenda.

As the Chief Risk Officer, you will be responsible for implementing the risk & compliance frameworks and managing the risk management strategy.

The CRO will also manage the risk and compliance team to develop and implement policies, procedures, and controls to ensure the effective management of risk throughout the business.

Finally, the Chief Risk Officer will work with the senior leadership team team and develop strategies to manage financial and non-financial risks, as well as providing oversight and insight around risk management across the organisation.
