    Job Description

    Refinery / Petrochemical / Chemical / COMAH

    £50K - £62K plus benefits

    • HNC in Industrial Measurement and Control or Equivalent.
    • Instrument / E&I Apprenticeship.
    • 5 Years Post Apprenticeship experience.
    • Knowledge of fault finding in DCS/PLC's.
    • Have a strong safety and risk awareness mindset.
    • Have awareness of Environmental, Health and Safety Regulations.
    • Be computer literate.
    • Be self-motivated and a team player.
    • Confidence in using / modifying wiring diagram's, PID's etc.
    • Knowledge of COMAH sites.
    • Compex certified.

    Desirable attributes: -

    • Knowledge of networked Instrumentation (profibus, Fieldbus, modbus)
    • Working with safety systems. E.g. application of forces.
    • IET Wiring Regulations 18th Ed
    • Experience of VSD's commissioning.
    • Knowledge of electrical distribution systems including LV switching, isolation and fault finding etc.
