Opus Vitae are currently recruiting for
Welders/Fabricators to start employment within a busy manufacturer based in the
Ludlow area.

Salary:
£25,000 - £30,000 per annum - dependent upon experience.

Weekly Production Bonus of £33 per week
Shift Allowance £ paid on rotating shifts

Working Hours:
Days or Rotating Shift Pattern available

Day

Schedule:

Monday
Thursday 8.00am
4.30pm
Friday 8.00am 1.00pm

Rotating Shift Pattern:

Week 1: Monday
Friday 6am 2pm

Week 2: Monday

Friday 2pm 10pm

Any further hours completed past 37 hours is paid at time & a half (x1.5), with overtime available both in the week and on weekends.

Experience we are looking for:

Previous experience in a similar environment essential
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Ability to complete MIG Welding at a proficient standard

The day-to-day duties will range from the following;

Fabricates components by analysing requirements; welding parts.
Develops welding projects by analysing work orders, prints and completed assembly; calculating requirements, studying metals, determining appropriate welding techniques.
Collects equipment and materials by studying specifications and component requirements; order supplies and gases.
Verifies welding results by inspecting and testing welds.
Documents actions by completing records
Maintains safe work environment by following procedures; complying with legal regulations.
Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining suppliers; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs as necessary.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
