The School Nursing Team is seeking dynamic individuals with a strong public health focus who are fully committed to improving the health and wellbeing of our diverse school aged population.

We're recruiting Band 3 School Health Screening Co-ordinator into an innovative, award winning and growing service. We cover primary, secondary and special needs schools across a wide area with diverse needs.

You'll also be able to take on development and mentoring roles to help build your career and support our junior staff and student nurses.

To support the delivery of the National Child Measurement programme (NCMP) in schools, which involves weighing and measuring the height and weight of Reception and Year 6 children at state funded schools including academies.

Contacting schools prior to sessions to arrange dates and sending out the necessary information to schools.


Organise own travel and transportation of equipment required to complete the screening activities from office to schools on a regular basis.

To use the relevant tool for the screening programme following training and competency assessment.


Ensure data is entered on to the electronic patient record and validate class lists on the screening tool in good time to meet NCMP deadlines.
