    KS1/KS2 Teacher – 12 month fixed term - Hours 32.5 full time

    Salary M1-M6 depending on experience - (TLR2a available for suitable candidate)

    An excellent opportunity has arisen for someone looking to develop their leadership skills and take a lead role in further developing our curriculum across KS1/KS2.

    What we're looking for:

    We are looking for an outstanding classroom practitioner, who may have some leadership experience already. You will be highly driven and motivated and be able to work in a flexible and creative way to inspire and motivate our pupils to achieve the best they can.

    The role is flexible, demanding but highly rewarding. It is expected that the appointed candidate will have a strong passion and enthusiasm for teaching and learning and has up-to-date working knowledge of the curriculum requirements across the primary age range.

    The role will require the successful candidate to be open-minded about the expectations the role will bring as well as the challenges which may come along

    The successful candidate will have:

    • The motivation to achieve the very best for our pupils and be relentless in the pursuit of excellence
    • Excellent inter-personal skills as well as the ability to inspire and challenge
    • Proven experience as an effective good and outstanding classroom teacher
    • At least three years recent experience in teaching across KS1/KS2
    • Excellent communication skills and a good sense of humour

    The position may either be at Salisbury Primary School, Salisbury Street, WS10 8BQ or King's Hill Primary School, Old Park Road, WS10 9JG. Please note, the position would be fixed term at either school. Visits to both schools are warmly welcomed.
