The Role


We are looking for a Resident who has good administration, customer service, communication, and IT skills (we use the MS Office Suite).

Reliable, flexible, and professional you will need to have an understanding of working in an office environment and be interested in developing your administration and customer service skills.


You will have the opportunity to learn about the day-to-day activities required to manage the group's community centres across London.

Working alongside and reporting to the Community Spaces Development Officer you will assist in providing a high standard of customer service to internal and external customers and carry out specific project and tasks as required.

To be considered for our paid work placement opportunities you must have the right to work in the UK. Our roles may also require travel between our various offices and hubs.

The location


Due to the nature of the role, this role is offered as a combined office / community centre working opportunity.

You will be based at our Head Office, Fleet House, London and will also work from one of our community centres as required.

Days to be worked per week will be agreed on appointment.


What you'll have- At least 2 GCSE passes at grade "C" or above (or equivalent) including Maths and English- Good administration skills- Some experience of dealing with the public Good written and verbal communication skills, telephone manner and listening skills- Good organisational skills- Committed to providing a quality customer service- Ability to follow instructions and carry out tasks as required- Be punctual and reliable- Ability to remain calm and polite, and deal with customers in pressurised situations- Ability to complete administration processes to quality standards and in a timely manner- Be a great team player.

Having a flexible, supportive approach to colleagues- Ability to take a responsible approach to routine work whilst maintaining high standards
