    Description

    We are seeking to recruit an individual as an Associate to join the Capital Allocation team. This team is part of the Fund Management area of Arrow and is focused on ensuring the most appropriate capital allocation decisions are made on behalf of investors. The team is actively involved across all areas of the Arrow front-office, including capital formation & client relations, investment & lending decisions, as well as ongoing portfolio management, valuation, and performance monitoring.

    What will you be doing?

    • Support in the planning and coordination of the quarterly valuation process; liaising with internal/external stakeholders to schedule the relevant meetings/committees.
    • Monitor performance of fund(s) under management, noting any trends and/or risk factors and help to understand the associated impact on the value of the portfolio.
    • Monitor macroeconomic trends and help to understand the associated impact on the value of the portfolio.
    • Support in the production of materials required for the quarterly Portfolio Review Committee (PRC).
    • Opportunity to present quarterly valuation materials to senior stakeholders, both internal and external.
    • Support in the planning and coordination of any reviews/audits undertaken by external parties; liaising with internal/external stakeholders and supporting in the design/production of materials to assist with the process.
    • Support senior management in optimising the quarterly valuation process and associated workstreams across all product types.
    • Support in responding to investor queries surrounding the portfolio and performance, engaging with internal/external stakeholders as required.

    Required Skills & Experience:

    • Strong academic background within a quantitative discipline, e.g., Business Economics, Accounting or STEM related field of study.
    • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified.
    • 5+ years' relevant work experience, incl. financial consulting firm and/or multinational professional services. Experience in an accounting organisation preferable.
    • Strong MS Office Excel skills.
    • Capable of working in a fast-paced environment, with demonstrated ability to work under pressure and manage multiple workstreams.
    • Strong interpersonal skills (written and oral) and the ability to communicate effectively at a variety of levels.
    • Ability to provide guidance and advice to senior management.
    • Self-motivated individual, capable of using own initiative to drive improvements in business processes.
