    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The role of a warehouse coordinator is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse. Responsible for overseeing inventory management, coordinating shipping and receiving, and maintaining a safe and organized workspace. This role is key in supporting the Logistics team to ensure that all shipping documents are kept in order for HMRC audits.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate and oversee all activities in the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods.
  • Maintained accurate inventory records by conducting regular stock checks, reconciling discrepancies, and updating the inventory management system.
  • Ensure the warehouse is organized and clean, following proper safety and security measures.
  • Oversee the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring proper handling and storage to prevent damage or loss.
  • Collaborate with other departments to fulfil orders and meet customer requirements in a timely manner.
  • Implement and enforce standard operating procedures to optimize warehouse efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
  • Monitor and maintain equipment and machinery in the warehouse, arranging for repairs or replacements as needed.
  • Prepare and generate regular reports on warehouse activities, including inventory levels, productivity, and performance metrics.
  • A good standard of written and spoken English
  • MS Office skills including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Accurate data entry skills
  • Attention to detail and the ability to organise and prioritise workload
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • To be able to work in a team environment
  • Working knowledge of SAP (training provided if required)
  • Strong 'can do' attitude
  • Archiving import & export documentation and working with various departments across the business to integrate Customs processes within the Logistics/Supply Chain
  • Receive deliveries from couriers ensuring box count and paperwork match accordingly.
  • Process paperwork from the previous day and deliver it to the required office.
  • Raise delivery notes and arrange shipments to customers as required.
  • Work closely with the accounts team to quickly solve invoice queries and provide relevant back up.
  • Supports all company and department activities associated with meeting the goal in the "Presidents Message".
  • Adopts and practices Kaizen principles and concepts, participates in continuous improvement.
  • Supports and adheres to policies, procedures, and operational guidelines related to established quality management systems (e.g. TS 16949, ISO
  • Maintains working knowledge of safety policies and regulations to ensure duties of self and others are performed in a safe manner.

  • Plan and track the shipment according to customer requirements.
  • QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven experience in a warehouse or similar role
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and procedures (Microsoft excel and other web based software)
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in a warehouse setting.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills for inventory tracking and record-keeping.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings, as required.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Basic knowledge of MS Windows
  • Ability to read, write and speak English
  • Counterbalance Fork Lift Licence (preferable)
