Finance Systems Analyst with SAP BO

12 Months with scope for extension

Hybrid (Marlow, Buckinghamshire)

Our client a global pharmaceuticals company are currently looking to recruit a Finance Systems Analyst with Longview and SAP Business Objects experience to join them on a Contract Basis.

This Finance System Analyst will serve as developer and trainer helpingimplementing system solutions that advance our clients financial planning platform - Longview.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Architect, design, develop and implement Longview Globally
Work closely with the Finance Manager
Support Symbol/dimension management, metadata design/maintenance, and data validation processes as part of Financial Planning Systems.
Work with management to further develop forecasting tools (i.e. Longview) to satisfy business requirements.
Develop technical design specifications and analyze data to create data structures, dimensions, and measures.
Data Modeling, design and implementation based on best practices and recognized standards.
Understand and adhere to corporate standards regarding applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies, including code of conduct, safety, GxP compliance, data security, and the software development lifecycle.
Data Validation in Longview [SAP, BPC, HFM, BIP]
Validate data and accuracy in Longview
Identify source of variance root cause
Propose solutions
Month End / LBE / LRP / Budget cycles

Finance Business Partnership Training:

Train users to use Longview
Automate business processes

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

Finance/accounting experience.
Longview work experience in developing endtoend planning analytics solutions.
CPA or MBA preferred, but not essential.
Team building skills; ability to set and align goals/priorities.
Business partnership skills and teamoriented nature.
Experience supporting and presenting to senior business and finance leaders.
Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities (across different time zones) to achieve results and meet deadlines.
Disposition to generate ideas and embrace the ideas of others to manage innovation to reality.
Knowledge of Longview, SAP Business Objects, SAP ECC, Teams and Excel, Power BI, Python, Java.
