What will you be doing?


As our new Process Operator, you'll be responsible for the successful delivery of operational and maintenance tasks associated with the management of an industrial AMBR / Anaerobic Digestion (AD) facility.


You'll be a strong advocate of Alpheus' and the site's health & safety (H&S) policy and procedures, ensuring a focussed and positive attitude at all times.

You'll lead by example and live by the company commitment to the principle that all accidents and harm are preventable.


Working as part of a shift team, including weekend, bank holiday and on-call cover, you'll carry out routine and non-routine mechanical and electrical inspections, repairs, fault finding and maintenance.

You'll also carry out routine plant operation duties including process monitoring, set-point review and adjustment, sampling, laboratory testing and other general duties.

You'll be a key contributor and advocate of the goals of excellence in site operational efficiency, maintenance and cleanliness.


A key aspect of this role and of the team will be to help improve existing plans and contribute to designing new full life asset maintenance plans by identifying improvement opportunities, and by providing concise and accurate information to the Service Delivery Manager.


You'll pay particular attention to environmental permit requirements and revenue generating streams for our client, ensuring that Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and targets are achieved.

In particular, focusing on the compliance of the treated effluent discharged to the environment and the optimal performance of the Anaerobic Digester (AD) plant.

What do you need?

Our new Process Operator will be motivated to succeed and thrive in a team environment. A sound understanding of electrical equipment and processes and/or electrical qualifications will be an advantage. You'll have an excellent attitude to Health and Safety and Process Safety.
