Description
Are you an experienced Quality Engineer with a strong background in Mechanical Engineering? If so, my client who specialise in bespoke machinery manufacturing, are looking for a Quality Engineer based in South of Birmingham.
Location – South of Birmingham
Contract Type – Permanent
Position - Quality Engineer
The successful candidate will work on projects full cycle from cradle to grave, from initial concept and design through to commissioning.
A strong technical mechanical engineering background is important for this role.Responsibilities - Quality Engineer
Ensure projects are compliant with machinery guidelines
You will be responsible for reviewing 3D CAD drawings
Identification of risks during design stage and mitigate
Create installation/commissioning risk assessments
Management of FAT's and creating acceptance test plans
Create quality plans for external components and parts
Generate FMEA documentation
Experience/Qualifications Required – Quality Engineer
Degree or equivalent (Mechanical Engineering)
Ideally good experience with mechanical design
Experience managing risk assessments
