    Description
    We're seeking a fast-learning, self-starting system test – QA engineer join our product development team.

    Ideally you will be able to understand the fundamentals of hardware, embedded firmware and Java based front and backend cloud technologies.

    we're light on process but we absolutely understand and value the importance building quality into every step.

    You should be able to work independently and as part of the development team to support existing projects and develop new exciting products and services.

    The team are based at our Whiteley office.

    We are very flexible with regard to remote working, but we would like you to be in the office at least 3 days each week.

    At least 2 years' experience testing systems incorporating hardware, firmware and software.
    Ability to speak up for what you believe in when it comes to maintaining quality.
    We're Ground Control - we design, manufacture and support satellite tracking and IoT products and services.

    Our products are truly global and provide tracking & communications capabilities to:
    governments, oceanic yacht races, journalists in war zones, elephants, drones, icebergs and oil-wells (and everything in between).

    Behind our excellent hardware sits our management platforms, which handles all of our data processing, visualization, billing and reporting functions.

    we're in the process of coalescing together under one brand to become a global leader in tracking and IoT (machine-to-machine) applications Today we are a group of around 90 people, with approx 20 in technology.

    We are tier-1 partners with the major satellite operators who we often collaborate on projects with. We work on truly unique projects and technology
