Railway Operations Apprenticeship Assessor - Birmingham, United Kingdom - Train'd Up
Description
Train'd Up are seeking to recruit a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to co-ordinate, assess and deliver our railway operations based Apprenticeship programmes (predominantly working with new start Train Drivers).
Experience in assessing, training and workplace coaching would be advantageous although not essential as full training will be provided.The 'Learning Specialist Rail' will report to our Lead Learning Specialist (Rail) and work closely with our partner employers.
Applicants
must have previous train driving experience (although a current European Driving Licence is
not essential).
Applicants must demonstrate a
positive,
enthusiastic and
engaging approach to the job role and act as an ambassador for learning and development and Apprenticeships within the rail sector.
Requirements:
- Experienced railway operations professional with a passion for sharing knowledge;
- IT literate;
- A can do, will do attitude and be passionate about learning and development;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Either currently hold an assessor / trainer qualification or be prepared to achieve it within 6 months of employment.
Salary and Benefits:
- 35 hour working week;
- 25 days holiday plus stats;
