Well-rounded HR Advisor position within a high-performing HR function in Aberdeen.
This permanent vacancy is best suited to a CIPD-qualified Generalist with demonstrable experience of managing employee relations casework, ideally within the Energy Industry.
Overview:
Assisted by an established team of Coordinators and Administrators, the HR Advisor will support this forward-thinking business with a range of HR tasks including employee relations, policies and procedures, salary review, succession planning, and project work.
Reporting to a fantastic HR Leader who will give you the time, space and autonomy to succeed in post, the Advisor will play a key role in coaching Managers on all HR matters, and upskilling junior members of the HR function.
HR Advisor is an excellent entry point to this team and organisation, where you will be encouraged to develop and progress.
This very visible role will put you in the driving seat for future promotion opportunities, to HR Business Partner level and beyond.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Managing disciplinary, grievance and performance management cases.
- Reviewing/updating and where required creating fitforpurpose HR policies and procedures, controlling subsequent rollout and communication.
- Supporting recruitment and redundancy processes as required.
- Partaking in annual salary, benefits and bonus review processes.
- Driving continuous improvement in all HR processes, including HRIS.
- Leading and supporting HR projects.
- Mentoring and upskilling HR colleagues.
Applicants to this role require:
- Associate CIPD membership, or equivalent HR/business qualification.
- Advisory experience, ideally within the Energy industry.
- Uptodate working knowledge of UK employment legislation.
- Strong organisation, communication and influencing skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, with an eye for process improvement.
