Our client, well-established Investment Bank is currently looking for Senior Associate/Vice President to join their M&A team in London.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for leading M&A transactions as the Project Manager, overseeing Analysts and interns, and receiving guidance from senior leaders
• Developing and structuring investment memoranda and marketing materials
• Building intricate financial models and analyzing strategic drivers in sectors like ecommerce, software, and business services
• Serving as the primary contact for clients and investors, leading communication efforts
• Driving business development activities and delivering pitches alongside senior professionals
• Providing mentorship and development opportunities for interns, Analysts, and Senior Analysts

Requirements:

• 3-8 years of relevant professional experience in investment banking/ corporate finance/ M&A
• In-depth knowledge of key areas relevant to the role: valuation, accounting, financial reporting, financial instruments and general M&A concepts
• Excellent analytical, and communication skills and a great attitude
• Excellent grasp of complex financial modelling concepts, with a keen understanding of broader commercial issues
• University degree in economics, commerce, finance or accounting (or a similar discipline) from a top institution, with excellent academic performance
• A leader who can work independently, and manage a team
