Applications are invited from motivated, efficient and committed individuals for the position of Health Records Clerk, based at the Health Records Department, Bronglais General Hospital, Aberystwyth, Ceredigion. The full time post is working hours per week Monday - Friday
Main duties of the job
Duties will include operation of a computerised patients administration system, including inputting and retrieval of data. Locating, extracting and tracking of patient records. Filing of records in numerical order and making records available for distribution throughout the Health Board. Arranging patients hospital appointments via the appointment centre. Retrieval and preparation of notes for outpatient clinics, outpatient reception desk and general telephone duties.
Applicants must possess excellent organisational, interpersonal and numerical skills. A flexible approach to working and working hours is required and you should be prepared to undertake additional duties as and when required. The ability to work effectively as part of a team is vital.
