    Job Advert Location Description

    Ty Cwm Rhondda is a 20-bedded low secure mental health facility offering high quality assessment, treatment and rehabilitation services for males with complex mental health needs, serious mental illnesses including treatment-resistant presentations, and challenging behaviour.
    We seek to work with individuals to stabilise their mental health and behaviours with the aim to maximise independence and promote reintegration into the community at the earliest opportunity.

    Due to the nature of the Hospital setting post holders are required to work weekends and bank holidays

    Job Advert Role Description

    Required to support the provision of the catering operation assisting with food preparation
    and hygiene.

    Post holder is required to deputise in the absence of the Chef for cross cover arrangements

    Post holder with both assist and work independently ensuring the preparation and cooking of meals is in accordance with the company's Assured Safe Catering policies and procedures.

    As part of the catering team, the role holder will be required to ensure the kitchen and associated areas meet operational hygiene standards and comply with the company's Assured Safe Catering policies and procedures.

    Post holder is required to ensure that all documentation is completed in line with policy requirements.

    Post holder is to ensure that all Food items and stock are stored in line with company's Assured Safe Catering policies and procedures.

    Role requires the post holder to be willing to work towards level 3 catering qualification which will be supported by the company.
