Are you looking to start your career within finance but not sure how to go about it? If so, I may have the opportunity for you I am currently working with a highly successful internationally brand, based in South Oxfordshire to recruit additional support within their Finance team.

This is a permanent opportunity that offers development, progression, and the opportunities for study support

Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will be working as part of a busy but vibrant team to oversee all General Ledger functions including the management of product data from initial costings through to end pricing.

Key Responsibilities

Manage all critical costing data within the company's ERP system including suppliers, payees, raw material and shipping
Maintain all necessary data related audit trails (internal and external)
Management of supplier invoices to support supply chain finance functions
Ensure Sarbanes Oxley Compliance in all processes

What is fantastic about this role is that you don't need any finance experience If you're able to display a strong desire to start a finance career, then this is the perfect opportunity.

The client is willing to train someone from scratch including the processes needed and all accountancy IT packages.

What you will need for this role is:

Meticulous approach to work with an aptitude for figures
Computer literate with knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel)
Strong communication skills both written and verbal

The company is continuing to grow so there are plenty of chances to develop and progress/

Though AAT qualifications are not essential it would be beneficial to have either Level 1 or 2.

The role will be office based 5 days a week with free onsite parking available.
