Oxford Ward has a fantastic career opportunity for a new band 6 junior ward sister.


Oxford Ward has been a respiratory COVID ward since March 2020, looking after patients requiring the support of CPAP, BIPAP, Optiflow and high flow oxygen.


We strive to deliver the best care to our patients and ensure we give care and support to our team.

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, self-motivated, energetic to join our friendly team.


As a band 6 sister/charge nurse you will be expected towork clinically as a member of the nursing team, you will work in partnership with the Ward Manger to provide clinical, professional and managerial leadership for a ward based team of qualified and non-qualified staff.

The post holder will be required to deputize in the absence of the Ward Manager. You will be required to set and maintain the high clinical standards we all aspire to.
