    ABOUT THE ROLE

    SATS Employee Benefits team is seeking a self-driven individual who is passionate about enhancing employee well-being, optimizing value, and creating success. Working closely with the team, incumbent will play an active role in policy development and program improvement and provide clarity to operations complexity.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Holiday & Medical Benefits

    • Manage Level 2 case escalation to evaluate and recommend resolution.
    • Document existing workflow with responsibility in process, system and vendor improvement.
    • Maintain and review employee user guides to ensure information is current and relevant.

    Work Injury Claims

    • Review WICA operations and data to ensure compliance and timely closure.
    • Document existing workflow with responsibility in process, system and vendor improvement.

    Duty Travel (Business Travel)

    • Collaborate with Technology team on system related matters.
    • Improve employee awareness and satisfaction through work on system, workflow and policy.

    Employee Insurance

    • Manage policy operations, vendor performance and relevant resources shared with stakeholders.
    • Support annual renewal activities that are segregated into 3 policy tranches.

    Long Service Awards (LSA)

    • Strong involvement in LSA annual dinner, as part of employee benefits team
    • Maintain important documents for each LSA year to facilitate planning and reference.
    • Participate in vendor negotiation and project planning.

    KEY REQUIREMENTS

    • Good HR experience with knowledge in at least 2 areas: Medical Benefits, WICA, Business Travel, Employee Insurance, Vendor Management, Policy/Program Design, Project Managemen t
    • Strong in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint with an aptitude in application and understanding of IT tools and systems.
    • Meticulous with ability to define roadblocks, identify gaps and implement solutions.
    • Strong grasp in concepts to effectively design, negotiate and organize.
    • Interact well at all levels to address employee queries, manage communications, solicit approvals and liaise with external vendors.
