Purpose of the Role


The Accounts Receivable Clerk will be responsible for the management of the pre-payment & consolidated clients to ensure the OtC Ledger remains updated in a prompt manner.

Key Responsibilities

Monitoring of selected complex Accounts Receivable portfolio - aged or disputed.

  • Daily management of outstanding receivables according to defined collection processes for the assigned Media portfolio (Prepayment / Consolidated Clients)
  • Collects Receivable and client specific information to support cash target achievement and meet Net Working Capital Targets
  • Sending statements and reconciling complex accounts to resolve issues on account.
  • Ensuring any collections activities undertaken are captured into the ERP system.
  • Working closely with both Client Leads & Media Booking & Billing team to ensure reconciliation are processed in a timely manner.
Dispute management activities

  • Escalation of nonpaying customers to the appropriate level within the organization according to defined collections processes
  • Identification and documentation of disputes into the ERP system
  • Liaising with Client teams and Booking teams to escalate disputed items.
  • Supplies adhoc clientspecific information and analysis as and when required.
Cash Application

  • Cash Allocation of internal invoices / credit notes to complete reconciliation process
Qualifications + Skills

  • Minimum of 2+ years' experience in billing or credit control
  • The ability to establish and develop a professional working relationship with internal contacts.
  • Experience with (financial) administrative computer systems
  • Strong Excel knowledge
  • Ability to work independently, selfstarter, taking initiative for improvements.
  • Able to handle deadlines and maintain accuracy.
  • Accurate and organized, able to maintain a highquality level.
  • Dedicated and flexible.
  • Ability to project credibility and confidence when dealing with Client teams and finance leadership.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Team player, provide backup and support to meet overall team goals.
  • Eye for detail
  • Problemsolving mindset
  • It would be advantageous if you had experience in Media Ocean or Microsoft D365
