We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated English Teacher to join our team at a partnering School in Telford.

This full-time position suited for an enthusiastic educator to inspire and support students in their English language and literature studies at the GCSE level
Job Title - English Teacher
Position Type - Full-Time, Long-Term (Immediate Start)
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging English lessons that align with the GCSE curriculum requirements.
Differentiate teaching strategies and resources to accommodate the diverse learning needs and abilities of students.

Support students in developing their writing skills across a variety of genres and forms, providing guidance on structure, style, and language conventions to help them communicate effectively and creatively.

Work collaboratively with colleagues within the English department and across other subject areas to share best practices, resources, and ideas for enhancing teaching and learning outcomes.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a degree in English or a related field.
• Proven experience teaching English at the GCSE level, preferably within a UK secondary school setting.
• Strong subject knowledge across English language and literature, with the ability to inspire and engage students in their learning.
• Commitment to high standards of teaching and learning, with a proactive approach to professional development and continuous improvement.
